David Blackwell, a former longtime secretary of the Insolvency Practitioners Association (IPAA) and an ARITA life member, sadly passed away on Monday 14 November 2022.

David served as Secretary of the original Bankruptcy Trustees and Liquidators Association, then its successor, the IPAA, for decades.

He was a former partner of AW Butterell Porter and Co and its successor Grant Thornton.

David was very much a part of the bedrock of our association and our thoughts are with his family.
