Independence - Understanding your obligations

Independence of insolvency practitioners will always be a matter of concern for stakeholders in the insolvency process.  As a practitioner, you need to not only understand your independence obligations, but also be able to effectively communicate with creditors by issuing high quality Declarations of Independence, Relevant Relationships and Indemnities (“DIRRIs”).

This half day training will assist you by providing an overview of the guidance provided by ARITA, regulators and court along with key practical issues when completing DIRRIs.

This information provides a framework which is then applied in practical exercises utilising checklists provided to you during the course.
