ARITA runs over 100 events throughout the year ranging from conferences held at a national and divisional level to single events that are technical, social or both. The events are held at various locations around Australia for the benefit of members and non-members to share knowledge, network with their peers and build their profile in the industry.
These learning and development sessions help insolvency and restructuring professionals keep their knowledge current. The most popular format is the lunchtime forum, where delegates network over a light lunch, followed by a one–hour presentation by an esteemed member of the profession. Each Forum qualifies for 1 CPD/CLE hour. Register for the Series at the start of each year and save 15%.
Our National Conference is the pre-eminent professional development event relating to restructuring, insolvency and turnaround. The full two-day program addresses the most topical industry issues by combining highly relevant presentations with dynamic and practice-oriented masterclasses. Networking events include a Welcome Reception and the Conference Dinner, which is the only event that brings together the who’s who of restructuring, insolvency and turnaround from across Australia. In 2016, 275 delegates attended the conference and over 600 attended the dinner. Attendance of the full conference qualifies for up to 12 CPD/CLE hours.
Held in Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney, our one- or half-day Division Conferences focus on more regional content. They are followed by a sit-down dinner. The Conferences attract up to 250 delegates, with up to 450 people attending the dinners. Division Conferences qualify for up to 6 CPD/CLE hours.
Young Professionals Events
ARITA’s NSW/ACT, South Australia, Queensland and Vic/Tas Divisions have Young Professional Committees which focus on the needs of younger members of the profession. They organise a series of events throughout the year including combined learning and social events and dedicated social functions. Young Professionals Technical Seminars qualify for one CPD/CLE hour.

Throughout the year various ARITA Divisions hold a range of functions where members can network and socialise with their colleagues. Event formats include lawn bowls, golf days and cocktail receptions.
