Melissa has over 17 years’ experience in insolvency and restructuring across both the accounting and legal professions. She has worked on a variety of both informal and formal insolvency
appointments and demonstrated a strong knowledge of both the technical and
commercial aspects associated with those roles.
Melissa has advised insolvency practitioners, creditors,
directors, corporations and government bodies on all areas of corporate
reconstructions, insolvency and corporations law, including matters involving regulators such as ASIC and AFSA. She also has experience assisting professional services firms in relation to regulatory investigations, including engagement with international regulators such as the U.S. SEC.
Over the years Melissa has developed a keen interest in
corporate turnaround strategies and achieving practical, commercially focused outcomes for stakeholders. Melissa has served as Chair of the ARITA Vic/Tas Division Committee and as an ARITA National Board Member.
