Bruce
Gleeson is a Principal at Jones Partners with over 25 years’ experience in
corporate insolvency, restructuring, crisis management and bankruptcy. He is a
Registered Liquidator, Registered Trustee in Bankruptcy, and a Justice of the
Peace (NSW). Bruce has acted extensively for creditors, often leading recovery
actions involving public examinations and asset tracing, and is frequently
appointed as Trustee under Section 66G of the NSW Conveyancing Act to manage
property sales. His expertise spans sectors including construction,
professional services, hospitality, not-for-profits/NDIS organisations, and
fraud-related matters such as Ponzi schemes. Bruce has led numerous
high-profile matters, including the 2009 administration and restructure of
Wincrest Homes, and the 2020 appointment as Provisional Liquidator of Maliver
Pty Ltd and Receiver & Manager to Melissa Caddick — a complex Ponzi scheme
requiring extensive forensic analysis.
An ARITA
Fellow, Bruce joined the National Board in 2019 and was appointed Vice
President in 2025. He serves as Chair of the AFSA Liaison Committee, Deputy
Chair of the Professional Conduct Committee and is a member of the Small-Medium
Practice Committee. Outside of work, Bruce is a loyal Parramatta Eels
supporter, enjoys equity markets, gardening, and a good glass of wine.
