Kathy Sozou is
a Partner at McGrathNicol, and has over 25 years’ experience in restructuring,
business reviews, turnaround planning and cash management. A Registered
Liquidator, she has lead formal insolvency appointments in both Australia
and the UK, and has worked across sectors including healthcare, insurance, debenture funds, retail, franchising, and investment banking. Throughout her career, she has applied strong analytical, project management, reporting and communication expertise across a wide range of engagements.
Kathy served on the NSW/ACT Division Committee
since 2019 and was Deputy Chair until 2024. She was appointed to the ARITA board
in 2021, became Vice President in 2023, and Deputy President in 2025. She is
Chair of ARITA’s Balance Committee (Diversity & Inclusion) and ASIC Liaison
Committee.
