Michael Fingland
is the founder and CEO of Vantage Performance, a specialist national turnaround
firm he founded two decades ago after seeing the devastating impact business
failure has on peoples' lives. With 25 years’ experience in corporate
turnaround and restructuring, he is a Chartered Accountant who has worked with
businesses of all sizes — from listed companies to SMEs — helping them resolve
critical issues and achieve growth.
Michael
joined ARITA’s Queensland Division Committee in 2018, was made a Fellow in
2021, and appointed to the National Board in 2024 under s20.3 of the
Constitution. He currently serves as Deputy Chair on ARITA’s Finance,
Governance and Risk Committee, and is a member of Membership Committee. A
regular media commentator, Michael has contributed insights to national outlets
including the AFR, SMH, Company Director, CEO Magazine and
various business podcasts.
