Graduate Certificate

From 2016 the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) is offering students who have completed the ARITA Advanced Certification, or students that have previously completed ARITA’s Insolvency Education Program (IEP) at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT), the opportunity to continue their studies and obtain a Graduate Certificate in Restructuring and Turnaround .

The UTS Graduate Certificate is only available to students that have completed at least two ARITA Advanced Certification subjects or, prior to 2016, the IEP.

This exclusive offering recognises the high standard of ARITA's postgraduate insolvency and restructuring specialised study and gives ARITA students the opportunity to obtain a formal university qualification.

How do I complete the UTS Graduate Certificate?

The UTS Graduate Certificate in Restructuring and Turnaround requires the completion of four subjects (24 credit points).

Students who have completed the ARITA Advanced Certification (or prior to 2016, the IEP) are eligible to apply for six credit points recognition per subject towards the UTS Graduate Certificate.

Students who complete two of the subjects in the ARITA Advanced Certification course (or the IEP) can apply for 12 credit points recognition.  Students who complete all three of the subjects in the ARITA Advanced Certification course can apply for 18 credit points credit recognition. The final 6 or 12 credit points is obtained by completing one of a list of UTS subjects.

What subjects are offered in the UTS Graduate Certificate?

At the moment UTS offers a range of law subjects that are related to the fields of restructuring, insolvency and turnaround.  UTS is planning to expand the elective subject list.

Am I eligible for admission into the Graduate Certificate?
