Disciplines such as business process improvement (BPI) are often necessary to focus on the critical problems with a distressed company’s operations.

Restructuring and turnaround professionals operate within the constraints of a crisis. Therefore it’s essential to accurately and quickly grasp the root causes of a company’s decline and prioritise those most impactful to a successful recovery.

This course will provide you with a working knowledge of root cause analysis techniques, how to build and apply a cause and effect matrix, and prioritise actions in preparation for their execution.

At the end of this course you will be able to:

• Describe how root cause analysis can generate accurate and objective insights.
• Identify the different techniques and which ones to use in different situations.
• Create options and prioritise these to set up resourcing and execution.

Prerequisites

We recommend you have at least one year of on-the-job experience prior to attending this course.
