Law reform refresher training
One year in, we review the changes introduced by the Insolvency Law Reform Act and reveal the compliance issues that continue to challenge practitioners.
The Insolvency Law Reform Act (2016) (ILRA) introduced changes both large and small to the requirements for insolvency appointments through a complex legislative framework.
The breadth and complexity of the reforms means that there is significant risk of unintentional non-compliance through lack of familiarity with the new requirements.
As the saying goes, ‘You don't know what you don't know!’
To ensure you and your staff do know, ARITA is now offering a 2.5-hour refresher course.
Don’t miss this opportunity to gain or refresh essential knowledge on the ILRA. You’ll learn how to:
- navigate the legislation efficiently
- understand the compliance issues
- identify and manage the many practical issues that may arise on appointments.
This course will ensure you have working knowledge of the:
- Post-ILRA framework and how it fits together
- Key requirements or amendments under ILRA
- Practical issues and challenges on appointments and how to manage them.
This course provides only a limited overview of personal insolvency.
There are no prerequisites to attend this training - it's open to everyone.
In order to ensure that this training is widely accessible, it will be delivered online via electronic classroom.
