QLD Division Conference & Dinner

This year's Queensland Division Conference & Dinner will once again take place at Brisbane City Hall on Thursday 26 July.

The half-day program will be followed by excellent networking opportunities at the Dinner with pre-drinks and a three-course meal in City Hall's iconic Main Auditorium.

Stakeholder perspective – ATO and FEG: a panel discussion with Henry Carr, Department of Jobs & Small Business, and Bronwyn De Mont, Australian Taxation Office.

Moving to cash-less(er) transactions, and the deputising of business in the fight against money laundering and tax evasion; considerations for IPs in an evolving digital world – Murray Lawson, Managing Director in the Global Risk and Investigations practice, and Geoff Peck, Managing Director in the Forensic Accounting and Advisory Services practice of FTI Consulting.

ARITA update and Q&A – Peter Schmidt, ARITA QLD Division Committee Chair, and John Winter, ARITA CEO.

'Hot topics' panel – to discuss the most pressing issues for the industry including ipso facto, safe harbour and more.
