Thea will provide members with an update from ASIC in respect to a number of current issues, including ASIC's expectations of insolvency practitioners following the Banking Royal Commission, the importance of culture and transparency to stakeholders, how ASIC can assist insolvency practitioners through the assetless administration fund and the pursuit of directors guilty of phoenix activity along with general updates on matters such as appointee independence and appointee remuneration/expenses.
