Sydney Evening Forum: Is retail being redefined?
Is retail being redefined or is it business as usual?
Join us for a panel discussion featuring industry experts exploring the current state of the retail industry and what the future might hold for retailers and in particular, their landlords.
Are our shopping centres destined to be entertainment venues or community centres or are our retailers sufficiently hedged against changing consumer trends and an increasingly challenging economic outlook. Are recent retail collapses a sign of things to come or is it just a market correction?
More importantly, if retail is being redefined, how can industry players prepare?
Our panel will consist of:
- Noel McCoy, Partner, Norton Rose Fulbright;
- Laura Johns, Partner, Norton Rose Fulbright;
- Barry Kogan, Partner, McGrathNicol; and
- Matthew Meynell, Head of Investment Services, Colliers.
