Online Scam Alert - Small Practice Conference Guest List

ARITA is aware that a number of people in the insolvency community have been contacted by online scammers, offering to fraudulently sell the guest list of the Small Practice Conference in Hobart.

Following an investigation by our CRM host, we are confident the information being offered for sale is false and likely an attempt at phishing or identity theft. A review of server security logs was conducted as well as a complete scan of the relevant server, and there has been no indication of any breach of the ARITA website or CRM system, and we are confident our environment remains secure.

Our IT partners note that this type of email is a common scam campaign, and strongly recommend that recipients do not engage with the sender, click any links, or provide any information. For further information or assistance, please contact [email protected]
