ARITA is saddened by the passing of Dennis Cougle.

Dennis served as the first President of the Insolvency Practitioners Association of Australia (1982–1984), the predecessor to ARITA, and later as President of INSOL International from 1995 to 1997.

He was awarded Life Membership in 1994, becoming only the third recipient of this honour in the history of IPAA/ARITA.

Our thoughts are with Dennis’s wife Mary, and his family and friends.
