A forensic analysis

A forensic analysis of Gunns Limited, individual cross-guaranteeing entities, and Gunns Group overall, identified Gunns and Gunns Group was insolvent approximately 6 months prior, and only 1 month after the half-year audit review and the refinancing of $440m in secured debt.

The Federal Court's 2018 decision, confirming indicia of Gunns' insolvency, provides a useful guide concerning insolvency of complex corporate groups. The forum will be presented by Peter Holmes, Forensic Accounting Partner at Ferrier Hodgson.
