Vic/Tas YP Seminar: Listen and watch - detecting deception
Listen and watch - detecting deception
A vital component in the work of a restructuring professional is speaking to people, be it in client meetings, interviews or negotiations.
In this session, Robert Cockerell, Partner at KordaMentha Forensic and former Officer in Charge of the Victoria Police Major Fraud Squad and Detective Training School, will provide insights into the detection of deception through observing body behaviour and analysis of oral or written responses.
Attendees will have the opportunity to test their newly-learnt skills through analysing video clips and transcripts of well-known people. Robert has presented this subject at international conferences in London, New York, Austin, Singapore and Hong Kong and he is sure to enhance attendees' ability to gain insights into the people they communicate with.
