ARITA Advanced Certification is a specialist accreditation for those building their career – or who want to advance their already established career – in restructuring, insolvency and turnaround.

Aimed at practitioners with at least three years of experience, this postgraduate level course provides future specialists in their fields with the expert knowledge and skills that are essential to make their careers successful and rewarding.

Delivered in partnership with the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), it provides optional pathways for those wishing to practice formal insolvency or concentrate on restructuring and turnaround.

ARITA Advanced Certification is:
  • Australia's preeminent insolvency and restructuring course with over thousands of graduates since 1991
  • a recognised qualification to become a Registered Liquidator or Registered Trustee
  • the only education pathway to becoming an ARITA Professional Member.

Why do the ARITA Advanced Certification

This course is for restructuring, insolvency and turnaround professionals who want to:

  • accelerate their career
  • receive formal recognition for expertise in their area of practice
  • apply to become A Registered Trustee or Liquidator
  • become a professional member of ARITA.
On completion of the core subject and one elective ARITA will award you an Advanced Certificate in Insolvency or Restructuring and Turnaround.

Please note: while completion of the ARITA Advanced Certification is a prerequisite for ARITA Professional Membership, completion by itself does not guarantee you will be accepted as an ARITA Professional Member. More about joining ARITA

Double your credentials

You have the option to complete both the electives to receive a dual certification i.e. an Advanced Certificate in Insolvency and Restructuring and Turnaround.

Most of our dual certification students accomplish their first certification by completing the core subject and one elective, and then return to study the second elective the following year.

Whilst you can choose to do both electives at the same time, we recommend that you should carefully review the program outlines for the two electives to consider the study load in relation to your personal circumstances.

It is also important to note that the study load of taking both electives together will not be considered by UTS as valid grounds to request extensions to assessment deadlines.
