ARITA Expert Series: Insolvency

Thought leaders from the profession will give updates on the most pressing technical and practical issues in 2022.

The ARITA Expert Series has been developed with the mid to senior practitioner in mind. Following the success of these online sessions in late 2021, ARITA will host a series of Expert Series Seminars in 2022 for members to join from any location.    

Insolvency is the last of four half-day seminars.

  • The collapse of a company built on debt
  • The administrator will provide an overview of the Greensill Capital administration, being one of the largest financial services insolvency appointments in 2021. Greensill was a global supply chain financer trading across EMEA, the US, Australia and Asia. Since the appointment the administrators have recovered over $9.2 billion of assets for investors while navigating through complex recovery proceedings. As this is an ongoing matter delegates are required to respect confidentiality restrictions.
