The rights of creditors and the Commonwealth to seek information from an external administrator under the Insolvency Practice Schedule (Corporations) and associated rules have been significantly enhanced. The changes were intended to address a "feeling of general creditor powerlessness". This session with Emanuel Poulos, Ashurst and John Mouawad, KordaMentha, will review a recent case that provides guidance on the scope of those new provisions, in particular in relation to requests for information in connection with a liquidator's remuneration.
